Communication Federal Credit Union opens new branch in Norman

Communication Federal Credit Union has opened a new branch at 300 12th Ave. SE in Norman.

The new facility replaces the location at 130 E. Eufaula.

We are excited about adding three drive-thru lanes and a drive- up ATM to expand our services in Norman, said Kay Thompson, Norman branch manager.

Facilities at the branch include an Internet cafe and safe deposit boxes.

Communication Federal has formed a partnership with OU Federal Credit Union to have express branch locations in each other's Norman offices. Communication members can now access their accounts at the OU Federal Branch at 2000 W. Lindsey and OU Federal members can do the same at Communication's new facility.

Communication Federal/Communication Credit Union, founded by Southwestern Bell in 1939, has more than 43,000 members and $400 million in assets. The credit union has 17 branches in two states.
