Tulsa-based MPSI Systems changes name

MPSI Systems Inc. has changed its corporate name to Market Planning Solutions Inc.
"The name MPSI Systems Inc. has historically been associated with a technology business primarily offering location management software systems, and in that scenario, the term 'systems' has worked well for us," said James Auten, president and CEO of the Tulsa-based company. "However, we are now increasingly involved in more consultative and advisory services and we wish to heighten that perception among our customer base as we move into the future. We believe our new name makes us immediately recognizable as a 'solutions' company."
The company has also adopted a new Web site address, www.mpsisolutions.com.
