Cox Communications receives residential telephone award

Cox Communications Inc. was ranked highest in J.D. Power and Associates' 2007 Residential Regional Telephone Customer Satisfaction Study in the Southwest Region, which includes Oklahoma. It was the second consecutive year Cox has ranked highest in overall customer satisfaction in the region. J.D. Power and Associates' Residential Telephone Customer Satisfaction Study measures customer satisfaction with both local and long-distance telephone service.

In the Southwest, Cox ranked highest in performance and reliability, customer service, billing, company image, cost of service and offerings and promotions and scored 34 points higher overall than the Southwest average. Cox Digital Telephone markets included in the regional study include Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Topeka, Wichita and greater Kansas and northwest Arkansas.

Cox Digital Telephone provides services to 2.1 million residential customers and 160,000 businesses.
