Horticulture industries show planned in Tulsa

"Celebrating Horticulture-Four Seasons of Success" is the theme for the 27th annual Oklahoma and Arkansas Horticulture Industries Show scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 4 and 5 at Tulsa Community College's Northeast Campus, 3727 E. Apache, Tulsa. The grower meeting and trade show is sponsored by the University of Arkansas, Oklahoma State University, Tulsa Community College, the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation and the Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture.
The registration fee is $50 if received by Dec. 14. Later registration is $60.
Eliot Coleman, author of The New Organic Grower, Four Season Harvest and the Winter Harvest Manual, will be the featured speaker. In Harborside, Maine, Coleman operates a commercial year-round market garden at Four Season Farm.
