Journal Record, The (Oklahoma City), Apr 29, 2008

IBC Bank has a long-term lease as the anchor tenant at 3817 Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City.

The 10-story, 280,000-square-foot building will serve as the bank's Oklahoma headquarters and a commercial and retail banking center by late 2008.

"This opening is another step in our expansion efforts across the state and is further evidence of our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve," said Thomas L. Travis, president and CEO of IBC-Oklahoma.

IBC has opened or refurbished 18 branches since 2005 and has 58 branches statewide. IBC plans to open five additional branches by the end of 2008.

Expansion costs since 2005 total $40 million. By the end of 2009, IBC plans to invest an additional $15 million in 10 new facilities.

IBC bought Local Financial of Oklahoma City in June 2004. Local Financial operated Local Oklahoma Bank, which now operates as IBC Bank. IBC, based in Laredo, Texas, has more than 255 facilities in Texas and Oklahoma.
