Mary Anne McCaffree, of Oklahoma City, elected to American Medical

Mary Anne McCaffree, a professor of pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, has been elected to the American Medical Association board of trustees.

McCaffree is the chair of the Council on Science and Public Health, an advisory committee to the AMA, and a member of the Pediatric Section Council of the AMA. She is the chair of the Committee on Federal Government Affairs for the American Academy of Pediatrics.

McCaffree served as the first female president of the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
