Kingfisher-based Pioneer Telephone buys Suddenlink in Crescent

Pioneer Telephone Cooperative has purchased Suddenlink Cable in Crescent.

Approximately 97 cable television customers in Crescent are now served by the Pioneer office in Crescent.

Suddenlink Cable offers a basic analog system. Pioneer Digital Television, part of Kingfisher-based Pioneer Telephone, can offer customers the opportunity to upgrade to a digital system requiring no external equipment. Cable service in Crescent provided 34 channels. Pioneer DTV offers up to 140 channels.

Pioneer Telephone provides telephone service, digital television, cellular, long-distance, Internet, paging and security systems in 30 Oklahoma counties.
