Oklahoma clean diesel projects receive EPA funds

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality will receive $295,320 from the Environmental Protection Agency to help reduce diesel emissions.
The grant was among $1.4 million in grants issued for EPA Region 6 for clean diesel projects in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas under the State Clean Diesel Program.
The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality will use its grant to retrofit refuse haulers and school buses with diesel oxidation catalysts and diesel particulate filters.
