EPA awards funds to Okla. Corporation Commission

The Environmental Protection Agency has awarded two grants to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission totaling $1.8 million for leaking underground storage tank compliance and corrective action.
The commission will get $589,037 for the state's continued implementation of the underground storage tank program required by the 1984 Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
The allocation for corrective action totals $1.25 million for investigations, emergency response, remediation and risk assessment.
