Four Oklahoma companies make 2008 Forbes list

Four Oklahoma companies are listed on the 2008 Forbes Magazine list of the largest private companies. The rankings were based on annual revenues from 2007.

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores of Oklahoma City is ranked 25th, up from 42nd last year. Love's had revenue of $11.46 billion in 2007 and 5,900 employees, according to the magazine.

"We have experienced significant and steady growth since our first Love's location, and we expect that to continue for years to come," said Tom Love, chairman and CEO of Love's.

QuikTrip of Tulsa is ranked 37th with revenue of $8.09 billion and 10,472 employees.

Hobby Lobby Stores of Oklahoma City is ranked 276th with annual revenue of $1.77 billion and 18,000 employees.

Flintco Companies of Tulsa ranked 368th with annual revenue of $1.29 billion and 1,089 employees.
