Skirvin Hilton Hotel

The American Hotel & Lodging Association named John Williams the winner of the State Leadership Award. The award recognizes Williams' work on behalf of the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association and is presented to one person in each state who has significantly contributed to hospitality programs and initiatives in their state. Williams is general manager of the Skirvin Hilton Hotel and has 30 years of hotel industry experience.

Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless promoted Jason Jameson to store manager at the Tulsa Hills location in Tulsa. Jameson will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the store, training sales and customer service representatives.

Tiffany Hord was named assistant manager-retail sales.

Century 21 Clinkenbeard Group

Brad Warner was named top-producing sales associate for 2008 at Century 21 Clinkenbeard Group. The award recognizes outstanding sales production. Warner has four years of real estate experience.

Rees Associates Architects

Oklahoma City-based Rees Associates named Allan R. Parr AIA firm- wide assistant chief operating officer and director of operations with Rees Associates' Dallas office. Parr has 20 years of experience in operations management, project management, facilities operation, construction, design and business development.

Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence

The following Oklahoma chamber of commerce executives received certification in Chamber Management and Advanced Studies from the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence. Annette Bowles, Jenks Chamber; Sandra Meier, Yukon Chamber; and Suzanne Shirey, Sapulpa Chamber, received advanced chamber management certification. Completing Chamber Management I training are Kim Brown, Newcastle Chamber; Stephanie Fry, Stillwater Chamber; Tracy Mosley, Choctaw Chamber; Mark Rathe, The State Chamber; Brittany Sawyer, Jenks Chamber; Karen Wages, Poteau Chamber; and Della Wilson, Pauls Valley Chamber.

Oklahoma Association of School Administrators

Dr. Tom Friedemann was named 2009 District 20

assistant superintendent/central office administrator of the year by the Oklahoma Association of School Administrators. Friedemann is chief of staff at Francis Tuttle Technology Center and has 38 years of experience in education.
