Irwin H. Steinhorn takes great pride in watching the hundreds of law students he has taught in the last three decades mature and develop as leaders of the legal community and community at large.

Steinhorn, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, is an adjunct professor of law at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, teaching courses in corporate/securities, agency/partnership and limited liability company, and environmental areas.
He is a senior partner at Conner & Winters LLP and practices in the area of general corporate, securities, merger and acquisition, and environmental matters. Throughout his career, Steinhorn has represented companies in their initial public offerings, secondary public offerings and private placements of common equity and debt, venture capital financings, commercial bank financings, and other forms of financing programs, and has represented companies in international transactions and waste management companies in connection with their various environmental matters. For approximately 20 years, he served as an executive officer and general counsel for several New York Stock Exchange companies.
Steinhorn is also a frequent lecturer at various universities, law schools, legal seminars and business groups. In 2006, he authored Corporate Compliance Under the Regulations Implementing Sarbanes-Oxley.
He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, where he has served as chairman of the Business Association Section. He also is a member of the Texas Bar Association and American Bar Association.
Steinhorn is a member of the executive board of the Oklahoma City University School of Law, Rotary Club of Oklahoma City Club 29 and Oklahoma Business Corporation Committee, where he helped draft legislation to modernize Oklahoma's corporate laws.
His honors consist of inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the corporate/securities category, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America and Who's Who in American Law.
Steinhorn's mother continues to be a great influence in his life.
