LogicTree and Nuance Communications team up to offer trip assistance

College Park-based LogicTree, a provider of multimodal voice and data access systems, and Nuance Communications Inc., of Menlo Park, Calif., a maker of speech recognition, voice authentication and text- to-speech software, have teamed up to enable the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to give telephone callers fully automated trip-planning information.
