BAE Systems North America completes acquisition of Advanced Power

BAE Systems North America, a Rockville-based defense company, completed its acquisition of Washington, D.C.-based Advanced Power Technologies Inc. in an all-cash deal valued at $27 million. APT, an electronics and communications company, has facilities in Virginia, Maryland and Alaska.
