Acrodyne Communications asks SEC to deregister common stock

Citing prohibitive costs, Acrodyne Communications Inc., of Hunt Valley, a manufacturer of television transmission systems and equipment, has asked the Securities and Exchange Commission to deregister its common stock, so it won't have to file quarterly financial statements (Form 10Q) and annual financial statements (Form 10K) with the SEC.
