Settlement from lawsuit to go to Center for Poverty Solutions

Maryland Attorney General J. Joseph Curran Jr. said he will contribute $148,884 to the Baltimore-based Center for Poverty Solutions, as Maryland's share of a $8 million nationwide settlement of a lawsuit against Salton Inc. Maryland joined 45 other states and territories in alleging Salton engaged in illegal price fixing in connection with the sale of George Foreman Grills.
