Peninsula Regional Medical Center proposes expansion

> Officials of Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury are proposing a $110 million dollar plan to expand the 65-year-old hospital. The two-phase construction plan includes a parking garage with 400 spaces and a new emergency department aimed at cutting patients wait for service. The $83.8 million first phase will renovate nearly 100,000 square feet of the existing hospital and add 138,370 new square feet, officials said.
