2005 Energy and Water Appropriations bill passes House

> The 2005 Energy and Water Appropriations bill passed by the U.S. House of Representatives last week contains $15.7 million for continued maintenance dredging of the Baltimore harbor by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Baltimore District, announced Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md. Approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of material are being removed to maintain the harbor's deep channels for safe passage of large ships.
