BAE Systems North America to acquire DigitalNet Holdings

BAE Systems North America, of Rockville, the U.S. subsidiary of a British defense and aerospace company, agreed to acquire DigitalNet Holdings Inc., of Herndon, Va., for approximately $600 million, which includes the assumption of DigitalNet's debt of $93.25 million. DigitalNet provides networked infrastructure and information assurance systems to U.S. government agencies.
