Washington County Health System revises plan for new hospital

Daily Record, The (Baltimore), Sep 16, 2004 by Staff

The Washington County Health System submitted a revised plan for a new hospital to the Maryland Health Care Commission. The proposed $175 million project southeast of Hagerstown would replace Washington County Hospital, a complex located near the city's downtown business district that includes buildings constructed before 1912.

The health system had withdrawn its original application in May, 11 months after submission, citing financing problems.
