Bethesda-based USEC Inc.'s general counsel leaving

USEC Inc., of Bethesda, a global energy company that supplies enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants, announced that Timothy B. Hansen, senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, will leave the company at the end of November to pursue a career as a public prosecutor.

James A. Schoettler Jr., assistant general counsel, has been appointed general counsel while USEC conducts an external search for a successor, the company said in news release.
