DRS Technologies awarded $30M contract by MD-based Lockheed Martin

DRS Technologies Inc., of Parsippany, N.J., said yesterday it has been awarded contracts valued at about $30 million by a unit of Lockheed Martin Corp to provide production, spares and engineering services for the U.S. Navy's AN/UYQ-70 Advanced Display Systems and related computer peripheral equipment.
Engineering work will be performed by the company's DRS Electronic Systems unit in Gaithersburg.
