Calif.-based Saba Software acquires Baltimore-based Thing Learning

Saba Software Inc., of Redwood Shores, Calif., which makes software that businesses use to gauge the effectiveness of Internet- delivered employee training programs, said it acquired Baltimore- based Thinq Learning Solutions Inc., a provider of learning management software, for approximately $100,000 in cash and up to 1.8 million shares of Saba common stock.
