MD-based Merkle contributes to Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina

Merkle Inc., of Lanham, a provider of information-based database marketing services, said it processed more than 700,000 separate contributions to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Merkle is handling all donations for Katrina relief that arrive by mail, and has dedicated over 35 full-time staff to the project.
