Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. to acquire The Westin Kierland Resort &

Host Hotels & Resorts Inc., formerly Host Marriott Corp., of Bethesda, a national lodging real estate company, said it entered into an agreement to acquire The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz., for approximately $393 million, including the assumption of $135 million of existing debt.
The 252-acre resort contains 732 guestrooms, a 27-hole golf course and a spa among its amenities.
