Federal Realty Investment Trust of Rockville purchases three retail

Federal Realty Investment Trust, of Rockville, an equity real estate investment trust specializing in the ownership, management, development and redevelopment of prime retail and urban mixed-use properties, said it purchased three retail properties in the Boston area for approximately $150 million.
The acquisitions are Linden Square, a mixed-use office/retail development in Wellesley; Chelsea Commons, a community shopping center in Chelsea; and the North Dartmouth Shopping Center in North Dartmouth, Mass.
