Bethesda-based Lockheed Martin Corp.'s Patriot missle sales to

Lockheed Martin Corp., of Bethesda, the world's largest defense company, will increase sales of its latest Patriot missile to U.S. allies in Asia and the Middle East, according to a company official. Lockheed expects an order soon from Japan for additional Patriot Advanced Capability-3, or PAC-3, missiles, Vice President Mike Trotsky said.

Lockheed also has held talks with South Korea and Taiwan on possible sales in the next three years, he said, without commenting on the potential value.
