Columbia-based Enterprise Community Partners gets $5M gift

Enterprise Community Partners, a Columbia-based nonprofit organization that specializes in affordable housing and community development initiatives, said it received a $5 million dollar gift from Ron Terwilliger, chairman and CEO of the Atlanta-based Trammell Crow Residential, one of the nation's largest home builders.

Enterprise said it will use some of the money as startup capital for a $100 million Maryland Regional Workforce Housing Fund, among other uses.
