Polk unveils new brand

Polk Audio Inc., of Baltimore, a manufacturer of audio equipment, unveiled a new brand called "Polk Audio Designs" for mass-appeal products such as iPod accessories, radios and other audio systems. First out is the MiDock10, a portable iPod audio system that is being sold exclusively by RadioShack at a suggested retail price of $199. The MiDock Studio, a similar but slightly larger iPod system, will be sold starting in April by Polk Audio's existing retailers, select big-box retailers and on Polk's Web site. More Audio Design announcements are forthcoming, Polk said.
