Baltimore Community Lending provided loans to 13 homeowners who

Baltimore Community Lending, a nonprofit real estate financing agency, said it provided loans totaling $1,065,085 to 13 homeowners who renovated properties in Baltimore City in 2006. The Single Family Loan Program allows borrowers to purchase and renovate any property in the city, whether occupied or vacant.

The purchase price, construction cost and a portion of the closing costs can all be financed in one loan. Loans also are available for current homeowners who want to renovate their dwellings. For information, go to www.bclending.org or call 410-727-8590.
