Baltimore-based ZapThink LLC acquires The Linthicum Group LLC

ZapThink LLC, an advisory firm focused on service-oriented architecture and headquartered in Baltimore, has acquired The Linthicum Group LLC, an SOA consulting firm. The combined entity will serve over 600 customers and an audience of over 100,000. Founded in October 2000, ZapThink is an IT advisory and analysis firm that provides advice and insight into the architectural and organizational changes brought about by the movement to Service Orientation and Enterprise Web 2.0.
ZapThink will expand its intellectual property and team with expertise and resources from the acquisition to provide customers with expert SOA advisory, research and guidance.
