Elkridge-based GP Strategies Corp.'s revenue, profit up

GP Strategies Corp., of Elkridge, a provider of training, e- learning, management consulting and engineering services through its operating subsidiary, General Physics Corp., reported third-quarter net income of $2.5 million, or 15 cents per diluted share, on revenue of $60.8 million, versus net income of $1.7 million, or 11 cents per diluted share, on revenue of $44.1 million for the prior- year period.
The company attributed the strong results to several acquisitions which enabled it to add services, and continued progress in international expansion.
