'Overwhelmed' lawyer agrees to disbarment in Md. Court of Appeals

Daily Record, The (Baltimore), Nov 21, 2007 by Caryn Tamber

> In New Jersey, an appellate court last month upheld an award of attorney's fees to law firm Cuyler Burk LLP, which represented Silverman in an ethics case. Silverman had disputed Cuyler Burk's bill and fired the firm as his attorney. When Cuyler Burk sued to collect on its bill, Silverman filed a counterclaim alleging legal malpractice, a charge which the appeals court said was "without any basis in law or fact."
