Baltimore-based FTI Consulting Inc. releases 2007 holiday season

Daily Record, The (Baltimore), Nov 21, 2007

FTI Consulting Inc., of Baltimore, a national provider of business consulting and technology services, released its 2007 Retail Report, forecasting a 3.5 percent increase in 2007 holiday season sales, measured from November 2007 through January 2008, compared with its forecast of 4.8 percent in 2006 and actual growth of 5.0 percent during that shopping season.

FTI said the continuing acceleration of real wage income is the key factor behind its latest forecast, almost single-handedly preventing a disappointing 2007 holiday season from being even worse.
