Marylanders receive awards and recognition: January 4, 2008

David Warschawski, founder and CEO of Warschawski, has been named one of the top 40 industry leaders under the age of 40 by PR Week, the industry's leading publication. Warschawski was chosen for the tremendous success and growth of his agency, the numerous awards it has won on behalf of its clients, and his impact on the industry. He is listed among other industry leaders from high-level corporations and agencies including Facebook, Yahoo, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and Ketchum.

Carl Lee, Water Systems Council member and vice president of Milby Company, has received the National Ground Water Association's Supplier of the Year Award. The award was presented in recognition of Lee's leadership and his efforts that promote groundwater issues to the industry and the general public. He is an active member of WSC, NGWA, and the Maryland/Delaware Water Well Association.
