Mansco Perry III named chief investment officer of the Maryland

Mansco Perry III has been named chief investment officer of the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System, the system's board of trustees announced. Perry was assistant executive director and deputy chief investment officer for the Minnesota State Board of Investment, the 18th largest public pension fund in the United States.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Carleton College, an MBA from the University of Chicago and a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law. He also holds a designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst. Perry succeeds Steven Huber, who joined T. Rowe Price Associates.
