Daily Record, The (Baltimore), May 15, 2008

A Carroll County man was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months in prison for striking two people with a metal baseball bat. The prison time was part of a five-year suspended sentence. James Warren, 22, of Woodbine pleaded guilty in February to one count of first-degree assault. According to court documents, the attack happened after an argument between Warren and his friends and others at a party in Finksburg last July.

Warren allegedly began swinging the bat after another person damaged his vehicle.
