Maryland architecture firms announce staffing changes: May 23, 2008

Frederick Ward Associates announced that Kim Howard has joined the architectural division as senior architectural designer. Howard's experience is in a variety of architectural commissions including professional offices, health clubs, laboratories, residential additions, new home construction and commercial space.

Cannon Design has hired Joseph Lee Coyle as associate principal. Coyle has 18-plus years of experience in planning and design for architecture. His most current assignments include a 60,000-square- foot basketball practice facility at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Frederick Ward Associates has added Marwan Hatabeh to the architectural division as senior architectural designer. Hatabeh's experience includes commercial shopping centers, municipal facilities, K-12 education, multistory office buildings, day care facilities, churches and residential housing.
