Corvallis to get TJ Maxx, Michaels, Famous Footwear

Regency Centers, a national owner, operator and developer of grocery-anchored and community shopping centers, has closed on the acquisition of 3.52 acres of land in Corvallis. Regency Centers also closed on 2.6 acres of adjacent property.
According to Craig Ramey, Regency Centers senior vice president of investments, the company will develop an 82,250-square-foot shopping center anchored by discount clothes retailer TJ Maxx, crafts store Michaels and shoe retailer Famous Footwear. The property is located at Ninth Street between Garfield and Hayes avenues.
As of the end of 2006, Regency Centers owned 405 retail properties with 45 million square feet throughout the United States.
