U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs plans new rehab facility in

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs plans to build a new residential rehabilitation facility for mental health care at Walla Walla VA Medical Center in southeast Washington.

Details about the proposed facility are still in the development stage, but a proposed plan calls for a 22,000-square-foot, 36-bed building. The estimated cost currently stands at $6.7 million.
