Portland State University architecture students to plan

Daily Journal of Commerce (Portland, OR), May 2, 2008 by Report

Sixteen Portland State University students will propose ideas for a Portland Narratorium at a forum slated for 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The Narratorium would be a kind of museum dedicated to the art of storytelling and oral history traditions. The students came up with designs and models for such an institution during the recent winter term. The class, taught by Professor Clive Knights, was called "Plotting the City."

The student designs will be on display during the forum, which will be held at the Department of Architecture's temporary home at the Unitus Building, third floor, 2121 S.W. Fourth Ave., in Portland.
