Portland's SRG Partnership honored for brick use in hall near Mount

The Brick Industry Association has recognized Portland design firm SRG Partnership for its use of brick in its design of the Mount Angel Abbey Annunciation Hall, located in unincorporated Marion County near Mount Angel.
The firm received a Silver Award in the House of Worship category at the national 2008 Brick in Architecture awards. The annunciation building features a brick exterior and passive and active sustainable systems, including natural ventilation, classroom skylights and a heat recovery system.
