The Jeffrey in Portland gets finishing touches
Daily Journal of Commerce (Portland, OR), Jun 26, 2008 by Dan Carter
David Bassler of WB Painting, left, puts a coat of paint on a new light stanchion in front of The Jeffrey, an affordable, mixed-use apartment project, above, that is nearly complete.
The 80-unit, six-story building at 1201 S.W. 11th Ave. in downtown Portland will have 50 studio and 30 one-bedroom apartments as well as ground-level retail space. An inside courtyard area, right, features a planted bio-swale to take care of roof rainwater runoff. A portion of the ground-floor space will be the headquarters for Inside Out.
Howard S. Wright Construction is the general contractor of the 53,700-square-foot project designed by Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects.
