Armstrong Teasdale law firm elects new partner

Michael E. Whittle has been elected partner at the law firm Armstrong Teasdale. He is a member of the firm's business services department where he concentrates in the areas of real estate and corporate law. He also has experience in the areas of finance and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and other aspects of general corporate counseling and business law.
Prior to joining the firm, Whittle served as vice president, administration and corporate counsel for the Florida Marlins Baseball Club in Miami, Fla. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, Illinois State Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and Sports Lawyers Association. He is also on the board of directors of the Clayton Community Theatre, South Side Day Nursery and the Florida Atlantic University, MBA Sports Program. Whittle earned his law degree from Washington University School of Law in 1992 and his M.B.A. from Harvard University in 1999. He received his undergraduate degree from Pomona College in 1989.
