St. Louis-based VMI Audio & Visual Systems hires two communication

Communication industry veterans Larry Mason and William Pearson have joined VMI Audio & Visual Systems, headquartered in St. Louis. With 40 years of audio/visual experience, Mason joins VMI as a sales engineer. In his new position, he will focus on broadcast system sales in southern Illinois and eastern Missouri.
Most recently, Mason was a regional sales manager for EVS of Springfield. Since beginning his career as a television equipment maintenance technician in the Air Force, Mason also has worked for Laclede Communications, Midwest Communications, NASA and Philips Equipment Co. Pearson brings to VMI 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the manufacturing, products and service industries. He joins the firm as a rental sales manager in VMI's rental department. For the past 10 years, Pearson managed audio/visual presentations for special events. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Fontbonne University and is pursuing a master's degree in mass communications from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
