Dan Dolan has been named St. Louis office managing partner at Ernst & Young L.L.P. Dolan, who relocated from Ernst & Young's San Antonio office, takes over the post from Jim Havel, who was named office managing partner in 1998 and led the office to significant growth, while managing sweeping industry changes resulting from the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

Havel will relocate to Ernst & Young's Atlanta office, where he will serve as the lead partner for one of the firm's largest audit clients. Dolan joined Ernst & Young's St. Louis office after graduating from Saint Louis University. He worked in St. Louis for 24 years, becoming a recognized business and civic leader, before departing in 1997 to join the private industry. Two years later, he rejoined Ernst & Young in San Antonio, where he has served as lead partner for one of the firm's largest audit clients for the past five years. Dolan returns to St. Louis with nearly 30 years of experience coordinating audit services for domestic and multinational companies. In addition to assuming the role of office managing partner, he will serve as audit partner for several leading St. Louis organizations.
