Miriam Foundation names new board of directors

The Miriam Foundation has announced its new board of directors appointments: Roger Beaman, a financial consultant and trust specialist with A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.; Gretchen Davis, a volunteer active in community service at the local, state and national levels; Christopher Elliott, principal of Compliance Solutions, Inc., an affiliate of Zeffert & Associates; Linda Estell, a volunteer active in community service; Alisa Gordon, a consulting actuary in the retirement practice of Watson Wyatt Worldwide; Mr.
and Mrs. Michael Grzyb, co-presidents of The Miriam School Parent Association; Matthew Herzberg, vice president of organizational development for Express Scripts; Larry Langsam, vice president of Gateway Apparel; Sandy Washington, senior vice president and group manager, central/north group at Commerce Bank; and Karey Witty, senior vice president CEO of Centene's health plan business unit. The board of directors of The Miriam Foundation is responsible for the governance of the organization. The board sets the policies and overall priorities, monitors its performance, and provides financial oversight. The Miriam Foundation is a volunteer membership organization committed to improving the quality of life for families challenged by disability or illness through independent programs and collaborations.
