Carmody MacDonald adds four to law firm

The law firm of Carmody MacDonald P.C. has added James P. Carmody, Timothy F. McCurdy, Alexander S.Y. Lee and Suzanne Sheldon Swacker to its firm. Carmody has joined the firm as principal, concentrating his practice in family law and civil litigation. Carmody brings over 15 years experience focused exclusively on matrimonial law to the firm's family law practice. Carmody is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Illinois. He is a member of the Missouri and Illinois Bars, and several local bar associations. Lee has joined as an associate and concentrates his practice in medical professional defense and civil litigation. Lee has experience in medical professional defense, civil litigation, corporate, regulatory and contract-related law. He graduated from Washington University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Defense Research Institute. Lee is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Illinois as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

McCurdy, joining as an associate, concentrates his practice in medical defense law and general commercial litigation. McCurdy graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Defense Research Institute. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois. McCurdy also co-authored Malpractice from A to Z Series: What to Do and What to Expect if You Are Sued, Missouri Medicine, March/April 2006.

Swacker, also joining as an associate, concentrates her practice in medical defense law. Swacker graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law and is also a registered nurse. She is a member of The Missouri Bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She is licensed to practice in Missouri.
