MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Ryan Orgill of Grantsville has been awarded the Board of Trustees Endowed Scholarship to attend Southern College of Optometry. He is one of 120 first-year students at SCO, which offers a four-year doctor of optometry degree program.
Orgill earned a bachelor's degree in zoology from Brigham Young University.
About 14 percent of all optometrists in the United States are graduates of SCO, which is one of only 17 optometry schools in the United States.
