Ronald McDonald House (935 E. South Temple, 363-4663) Gifts for teens and parents: New clothes, pajamas, slippers, note cards and stationery, electronic games, gift certificates for movies, music, books, and clothing, personal care sets for men and women, photo albums, disposable cameras, gift baskets including fruit, nuts, crackers, and pampering for men, women, and teens, Christmas books. Gifts for newborns: New preemie and newborn clothes. Gifts for children: not needed.

Salt Lake County Aging Services (2001 S. State, #S-1500, 468- 2527, Camille at 468-2527 or Kyla at 468-2441) Blankets (any size), bedspreads (any size), bath towels, lap blankets, slippers, sweat suits. Only new items. You can also "adopt" a senior to provide Christmas for.

Salvation Army (429 W. 300 South, Kathy Scott, 870-7011) Coats, gloves, socks, underwear, tents, backpacks, blankets, boots, scarves. Food items: peanut butter, Spam, tuna, ramen, dried fruit, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, pancake mix, cheeses (bottled), chili, beans, juice, cereal and other high protein foods. Toys, books and clothing for Angel Tree children who are not chosen or whose sponsor does not return gifts. Robes, lap blankets, slippers, books, candy, etc. for seniors in Golden Angel program who do not get adopted.

The Sharing Place (1695 E. 3300 South, 466-6730, cmattison@thesharingplace.com, Stamps, tulip bulbs, paints, brushes, glitter glue, markers, shaving cream, craft sticks, ribbon, yam, buttons, lace, tape, individually wrapped snacks, new or could-pass- for-new stuffed animals.

Utah AIDS Foundation (1408 S. 1100 East, 487-2323) Adopt a family through the "Red Ribbon Tree." Holiday meal baskets for Thanksgiving or Christmas containing non-perishable food (such as canned vegetables, instant potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce), turkeys, hams, gift certificates for turkeys or hams, personal care stockings containing toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, razors, and soap.

Utah Food Bank (1025 S. 700 West, 908-8660) Frozen turkeys and hams, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats and stews, pasta, beans, personal hygiene items, baby food, baby formula, diapers and any food high in vitamins and minerals.

VistaCare Hospice (467-7772) Lap quilts for patients who reside in nursing homes and long-term care facilities (less then 50 percent of these patients get gifts of any kind for the holidays).

YWCA of Salt Lake City (322 East 300 South, 537-8601, view complete list of needed items at www.ymca.com) New and unwrapped items for the "Candy Cane Comer Holiday Shop."
